An Arizona woman is behind bars after she walked up to a state trooper at a gas station and stole his truck.
31-year-old Lisa Luna approached Deputy Francisco Campillo and told him she’d been raped but was OK, a story she later recanted. The deputy told her to stay put so he could get her something to put on, but as he returned to the truck, Luna jumped in and sped away. The officer tried to hold on, but fell off and suffered minor injuries.
Luna led police on a 70-mile chase that ultimately ended when she crashed the truck into another vehicle. She was arrested on multiple charges and admitted to police that she was high on drugs at the time.
