Police in South Carolina had to be called to a Denny’s restaurant to break up a fight between two workers who’d gotten into a scramble over hard-boiled eggs.

According to cops, 56-year-old Nancy Kirkpatrick and 21-year-old Dre-Shawn Fenn “got into an argument over a hard boiled egg.” Police did not specify how the egg caused the argument. The younger combatant also called her mother, who ran over to the restaurant and joined the melee.

Officers broke up the fight, and all parties declined to press assault charges
