A New Hampshire man had to park his butt in a city jail after he called cops to complain about illegally parked cars — but not before he vandalized nearly two dozen of them with power tools.
Yogesh Patel, 36, owner of M&N Borderline Discount in the town of Salem, dialed 911 to rant about people illegally parking in front of his store. Officers determined it was not an emergency, but decided to head over to get a first-hand look and found 10 vehicles in Patel’s private lot had their tires deflated. They then looked around a bit further and discovered another dozen or so had holes drilled in doors and hoods.
The cops demanded to see tapes from the store’s surveillance cameras and found footage of Patel and an employee intentionally damaging the vehicles, so they hauled the two in on charges of falsifying physical evidence and criminal mischief
