POLE

It’s bad enough to get drunk and and slam into a utility pole, but to get drunk and actually get stuck inside a utility pole? Now that’s different.

It happened to a man in China who had to be rescued from the inside of a hollow utility pole after he had too much to drink and squeezed himself through a narrow opening in the 65-foot-long pole. Firefighters had to cut off part of the pole and then use a rope to pull him out. It’s unknown how long the man was trapped inside. Rescuers had to pump oxygen into the pole because he was showing signs of suffocation. As soon as he was freed, he was rushed to the hospital. His condition is unknown. (Daily Mail)
