An Ohio politician must have been especially sauced over the weekend when he passed out at the drive-thru of his local McDonald’s — while packing a loaded gun!

State representative Wes Retherford had spent Saturday evening at a Republican party fundraiser and apparently needed a McNightcap, because he pulled into the fast-food joint’s lot and promptly fell asleep. Retherford was cooperative when roused by cops, who hauled him in on charges of DUI and possession of the weapon — charges that would require him to leave office.

The representative has raised questions with his behavior before: Last year, fellow lawmakers requested he remove a drinks cart from his office at the state capitol. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
